Who is Queer and Questioning?
Queer & Questioning is a local community organization founded in 2024 by June and Beth. They had a shared passion for fostering community. Our goal is to create safe spaces for the Sarnia-Lambton 2SLGBTQ+ community and their allies. We focus on running accessible, free/low cost events; where everyone can be exactly who they are.

My name is Beth and I’m the co-founder of QnQ. I am passionate about community building, animals, and bright colors. I started QnQ after realizing how few adult LGBTQ events were in Sarnia. I wanted a space for us to be ourselves, make new friends, and build new bridges.

Hiya! I'm June, co-founder of QnQ. I love community building in whatever way I can! Growing up a closeted queer was difficult -- So now I do everything I can to be the change, and representation I wish I had in my younger years. Bringing me to working on QnQ with my amazing friends as we all try our best to bring people together! 💛

Hey, I’m Sara, the Social Media manager of QnQ! I enjoy writing, reading, going on mini adventures with my friends, and hanging out with my cat Harley. Growing up in Sarnia me and my queer friends always had a difficult time finding our place. Many of us found solace within the queer community. I’m glad I found a way to give back by helping create safe spaces where everyone can just let loose and have fun.

Hey, I'm Shazi the treasurer of QnQ. I help track and organize all of QnQ’s finances. Apart from spreadsheets, I'm passionate about cars, gaming, aquariums and my cat Pringles! I understand how difficult it can be to grow up without a safe space at home. So I appreciate the opportunity to help QnQ provide a safe space for those who could really use one.

Howdy! I’m Lee, the health and safety lead at QnQ! I’m super passionate about plants and critters and can often be found talking my pals ear off about nature! I help run events such as plant walks and plant ID with Lee! I never felt like there was a space here in sarnia for people like me and I’m stoked to garner queer community within my Hometown!

Ahoy! I am Danni! I am the Graphic Design lead and Meme Queen of the team! I love space, cryptids and all things paranormal, and I take my fashion sense from Pirates of the Caribbean. I have been volunteering for the community for many years, and in my spare time I like film making. I'm absolutely enthralled to be a part of something so important as QnQ, with all my friends whom I love very much.
